Do the Democrats even have a chance this November?

I have been a devout Democrat since I was 9 years old in the '04 election. However, I am growing increasingly frustrated with the incompetence and ineptitude of the Democratic Party to push forward the progressive change this nation needs. I mean, we couldn't even win in Machusetts! Unless a miracle happens and the growing surge of conservatism abates, I fear big losses in this year's elections. Do we even have a chance to win more seats, and what do we have to do from now till November to make it happen?
