Washing Machine -- won't drain -- pump?

2001 GE Washing Machine. Used 2X per week since 2001. It just stopped draining. (It's the machine, not the drainage.) Question: Is the life expectancy about used up, or should I replace the pump? Or just buy a new washing machine? Thanks.
