How to increase Internet speed.. best ans will get 10 point.. :-)?

Hi there. can any frnd kindly suggest me how to increase internet speed. i m using only 1 mb connection.. sharing with three person.. my speed is ok.. but whn i try to watch movie frm any website.. dan the speed really poor.. any software can help me? i m usind DSL connection.. hope so..
