What should I do about my father?

If your father is hitting him (at age 24) then that is domestic violence. Call the cops and get him thrown in jail. Then lets see how much he likes getting slapped around. If your father beats on a kid under 18 (like you) then that is child abuse and can still go to jail. Why is your brother putting up with it? Where is your mother? Anyone else in the house?
