Can you take iron supplements by needle?

I am a fourteen year old female, and I have a very low iron count, which means I am always fatigued and lightheaded. Before I ask my doctor, I was just curious, as to, if you can get iron supplements by needle? I can not swallow a pill because my anxiety overthrows the my ability to take a pill. I know it sounds silly, and you think I should get over it, but I did not have a pleasant time applying the abdominal thrust on myself. Thanks
