Borderlands DLC questions?

In Borderlands if you get General Knox or any other DLCs can only one char play and beat it, or can every char you have play through the whole thing? Like my lvl 40 hunter played through, could my lvl 40 Siren play through it again? Please be sure of your answer before posting.
